Modern office with two workstations, large windows, and a city view

Hamburg, March 4, 2025 - EEF has been occupying new office spaces at the Hamburg location in the Metropolis House since March 2025. With the move to larger premises,EEF further strengthens its presence in Northern Germany and creates a central hub for projects in the region. The official opening ceremony will take place alongside the EEF Cooperation Partner Day in June 2025.

The approximately 600 sqmThe large office is located on the 8th floor of the Metropolis House, offering a view over Hamburg. Situated between Gänsemarkt and the State Opera, the location is central with optimal transport connections and numerous restaurants and shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity, providing the staff not only witha modern work environment, but also an attractive setting for professional and personal interaction. In addition to modern facilities, the office has various areas designed fordifferent work and communication needstailored to them. This allows flexible use – both for creative work as well as for focused meetings and collaborative work.

The Renewable Energy Factory has been active in Hamburg for some time and has initiated numerous wind and PV projects in Northern Germany with over 650 MW. With the new office, EEF further strengthens its local presence to collaborate with partners, authorities, and institutionsfurther expand and the projects in rural areasto more intensively support. Northern Germany plays a central role in the Energy transition 2.0 - especially in the development of hybrid power plants, where wind energy is a key component. These interconnected solutions are a key to the future energy supply and a strategic focus of EEF. With the expansion of the Hamburg location, the company can implement its holistic approach in the region more effectively and accelerate the transformation.

"With the new office, we not only create a modern working environment for our team but also a central location for interaction with our partners," says Nancy Schmidt, Head of Administration at EEF. "The new premises provide ideal conditions to advance our projects further and strengthen cooperation in the industry. Through modern technologies we connect our locations with each other and promote the exchange between Hamburg, Mainz, and Berlin.

The new premises will be officially opened in June 2025. For this occasion, EEF invites partners and industry representatives, offering opportunities for exchange and networking. In addition to introducing the new office, the opening will serve as a platform to present current projects and strategic initiatives.
